Skin reactions: gone

Updated: Apr 8, 2023

As I share my journey of healing my acne, I also want to shed light on the skin reactions that were a constant struggle for me. It was another health issue that I felt should not be ignored, particularly since it was another highly visible side of my healing journey and something that plagued me for so long.

It was a nightmare. My skin would erupt in sudden flare-ups, leaving me in unbearable pain. The worst part was not being able to identify the root cause of these reactions, despite trying every possible solution. These reactions seemed to have no limits, appearing all over my body.

The near-constant skin reactions were nothing short of mortifying, especially so when they were located on my face. They seemed to flare up out of nowhere, without any apparent trigger, and were practically untreatable once they did, leaving me in a state of anguish.

The burning sensation was so intense that it felt like my skin was melting off, and in some cases, it practically did, as I would have skin peeling off in chunks.

The reactions were unrelenting and could last for months, coinciding with new flare-ups. Even the slightest movement could trigger another reaction, leaving me feeling really defeated.

But everything changed when I started the carnivore diet. Within just a few weeks of starting the diet, I noticed a significant improvement in my skin reactions. The inflammation decreased rapidly, and the flare-ups became less frequent and less severe. Gradually, they became few and far between, and each one lessened in severity until I no longer experienced them at all.

I am deeply grateful for the healing journey I have been on. It's my hope that by sharing my story, I can inspire others to explore their own options for healing and take control of their health and wellbeing. The carnivore diet has brought me immense relief from years of suffering, and I hope my experience can help others on their own path to recovery.
